As crews rigged for the invitation race, and heats one and two of the 80th national titles, debate about the strength of the southerly that was due in time for racing was had. Well it appears there was no need for debate as it kicked in proper with a large swell to match! Plenty of VS's had their work cut out for them with some using discretion during the invitation race to finish and go ashore, while others blew up rudders (more than one boat) and are now fixing them overnight... With races 1 & 2 of the actual championship postponed until tomorrow, we currently have no series leader. A big thankyou to the volunteers at Teralba for making this regatta happen, and to our friends in the Formula 15 Skiffs for joining us again.
